SHARPS
SHARPS RECYSCLINIC is a reduced-size machine, mounted on a bio-waste tank for sharps and designed to separate in a quick and easy way the metal part from the plastic part of needles of any kind, allowing only the accumulation of metal residue in the container, optimizing space considerably and separating the plastic part for subsequent recycling of both components. It also includes a specific slot for the separate and discarded part of the scalpel.

According to reviewed studies, between 15 and 20% of work-related accidents caused by sharps occur at the time of removal of the device due to the re-encapsulation material and manual separation of the needle / syringe, both being techniques discouraged under current regulations.
